The SummitClub

Guest Policies

Dress Code:

We subscribe to the time-honored tradition of jackets and/or ties being appreciated, although not required, if there are particular theme events at the club, or for Notre Dame home football games when game-day attire is allowed, or in the lounge where denim is also acceptable. Business casual is always acceptable, however, jeans, shorts, and athletic shoes are not.

Reservations:

Reservations are strongly recommended for proper staffing at The Summit Club, to give our members and guests the service and attention they deserve and expect. On busy evenings, reservations will be held for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the original scheduled time. We will do our best to accommodate special requests for desired seating or private dining areas, depending on the number of reservations on the date requested. Desired seating requests will be filled in the order in which they are received.

Cell Phone Courtesy:

While dining at The Summit Club, we respectfully request that cell phones be put on vibrate or silent as a courtesy to other guests, and if answered that the call be taken in our common areas.

Smoking:

The Summit Club has a no-smoking policy in the dining areas and the common areas. Smoking is permitted in the Lounge, where cigars are available from our humidor.

Gratuities:

All food, beverages and services rendered shall be acknowledged by members signing the ticket presented by the server at the end of the service by legibly signing their name and checking to make sure their account number is correct. A 20% gratuity is added to each such ticket.

Terms of Payment:

We have convenient monthly billing, either electronically or by regular mail. Credit cards may be used by guests using your account with dining privileges.
